Having earned my degree in French Secondary Education, I have been a French teacher in diverse settings including: International Baccalaureate Charter School, Public School, College Preparatory School, Au Pair in France, and private tutoring. I have also had experience working with students of various levels starting with absolute beginner, AP French, to college students. Each level of language acquisition brings new skills that I love to celebrate with my students.

 

As someone who grew up in Hood River and who learned French through school, I understand the challenges and joys that come with language learning. The struggles I faced during my personal language and cultural acquisition have helped me to better understand the needs of my students as well as taught me to be a more empathetic global citizen. I hope to help my community continue to embrace the diversity that we have in Hood River while helping them experience the joy of learning French.
